‘Stronger’ makes a statement of independence; The song was entirely self produced by the band, and recorded at Two Brother's Studios in Bentleigh, Melbourne, which is the freelance home studio run by the Meyer brothers. The song was then sent to ARIA-nominated producer Forrester Savell (Karnivool, The Occupants) who provided his signature mixing style.

The initial concept for ‘Stronger’ began as a response to the 2015 European refugee crisis, as well as the many ongoing intra-state conflicts happening throughout the world. Various incarnations of lyrics and music came and went and ultimately the finished product shifted to an overall message of positivity and unity with the intention of making the song accessible to as many people as possible.
“We really wanted to explore themes that relate to the capacity of the human spirit - the fact that we are all so much stronger than we think we are, and that if we’re able to stop, even just momentarily, and zoom out, see the bigger picture, that that can be really helpful in reminding us of, and tapping into that strength,” says the band on the creation of the track.
Musically, the track fuses penetrating melodies with big choruses, layered guitars and an understated rhythmic complexity.
